INDOOR RANGE
Straight Line Archery offers open shooting lanes, 3D and Target leagues and a Pro-Shop with experienced staff to accommodate any archery enthusiast needs.
Winter Bowhunter Leagues run for 15 weeks and are based on a handicap system similar to bowling leagues.Shooters are grouped in similar score brackets and work towards being the most improved in the bracket.
We also have our Friday night, winter Spot League which also runs for 15 weeks. The NFAA Indoor target face, 5 spot or single spot target is used.
Teams are established after the first few weeks.
In both Leagues, archers are required to shoot one round per week. The three lowest scores shot will be dropped and anyone unable to make their weekly shoot are able to do catch ups when time suits them.
OUTDOOR RANGE
Straight Line Archery has a 28 target National Field and Hunter range situated on South Camp Road, Ishpeming. There are also 3D targets located around this picturesque archery range which offer the most pleasant of shooting conditions.
There is progress being made to establish a field for shooting FITA style events, the completion of this work should be this coming Summer.
Membership is required to use this facility.
